About ICYLAGOC

The Inter-Continental Youth Leadership and Governance Council (ICYLAGOC) is a youth-focused international organization dedicated to nurturing ethical, visionary, accountable, and transformative young leaders across schools, campuses, communities, nations, and continents. The Council serves as a platform for empowering young people through leadership development, governance education, civic engagement, integrity promotion, community service, and sustainable development initiatives.

ICYLAGOC is committed to raising a new generation of leaders who uphold the principles of ethics, accountability, transparency, good governance, peacebuilding, and social responsibility.

Through strategic programs, partnerships, advocacy campaigns, and ambassadorial initiatives, the Council will equips young people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to contribute positively to their communities, nations, and the global society.

Founded on the belief that young people are critical stakeholders in shaping the future of society, ICYLAGOC serves as a platform for leadership development, civic engagement, governance education, community service, advocacy, and youth empowerment.

The organization operates under the motto:

Establishment

ICYLAGOC was established on 1st January 2025 by Abdullahi Ibn Mohammed, a youth leader and advocate for ethical leadership, youth participation, and good governance.

The organization was founded to address the growing need for leadership development opportunities among young people and to promote active citizenship, integrity, accountability, and community transformation.

Registration

Following its establishment and initial operations, ICYLAGOC was officially registered on 6th May 2026, providing a formal legal framework for the organization to expand its programs, partnerships, and impact across educational institutions and communities.

 

Founder

As the Founder, Abdullahi Ibn Mohammed envisioned an organization that would empower young people with the knowledge, skills, values, and opportunities required to become responsible leaders and agents of positive change.

 

Through his leadership, ICYLAGOC has continued to develop initiatives focused on:

Headquarters

The National Headquarters of ICYLAGOC serves as the central coordinating office responsible for policy direction, program management, strategic partnerships, membership development, and organizational administration.

 

Headquarter: Located now in Kaduna sooner to move to Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nigeria.

 

From its headquarter, ICYLAGOC coordinates activities across campuses, communities, states, and partner institutions.

 

Vision

To raise a generation of ethical, competent, accountable, innovative, and transformational leaders who will contribute meaningfully to sustainable development, good governance, and societal progress.
